Job Description: Associate Pastor (Youth, Worship, Part time 20 hours)
Position Overview
Real Life Church located in beautiful Bigfork, MT is seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Pastor to lead our Youth Ministries with a secondary focus on Worship, Administrative and Social Media responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone who feels a calling towards ministry, especially in engaging with the next generation, while also nurturing a vibrant worship culture. This bi-vocational role offers a 3-bedroom parsonage as primary compensation with an additional small stipend.
Key Responsibilities
Youth Ministry
- Develop and lead youth programs designed to nurture spiritual growth and community among middle and high school-aged members.
- Plan events, retreats, and engaging activities that foster fellowship, discipleship, and spiritual development.
- Mentor and build relationships with youth, providing support and guidance in their walk with Christ.
Worship Ministry
- Lead and participate in the worship team in selecting songs, rehearsing, and executing weekly worship services.
- Foster a creative and inclusive worship environment that encourages the congregation to engage deeply in musical praise and worship.
- Collaborate with the lead pastor to ensure worship aligns with sermon themes and church vision.
Administrative and Social Media
- Handle administrative tasks including scheduling, communications, and record-keeping.
- Manage church social media presence to engage with the church community and the wider public, promoting events, services, and digital discipleship content.
- Assist with church-wide events and programs that might require additional administrative support.
Qualifications
- A strong call to ministry and a passion for working with youth and worship.
- Experience in youth ministry and/or worship leadership. Ability to lead and organize programs effectively.
- Proficient in using social media platforms to promote church activities and engage with the community.
- Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers, and congregation members.
- Able to be Licensed within the Christian and Missionary Alliance. We will work with you to achieve this goal.
